My name is Francisco J. Corral, founder of Chico’s Electric. My passion for electrical work started long before Chico’s Electric ever existed. From the time I was 11 years old, I was fascinated by how things worked—taking apart old stereos, working with wires, and learning everything I could about electricity. By high school, I had already begun training in the electrical trade and knew I had found the career I wanted to pursue.

 

Around that same time, I met my wife, Julieta Corral, when we were just 16 years old. From day one, Julieta believed in me and encouraged me to keep growing, both personally and professionally. For seven years, I worked for different electrical companies, gaining hands-on experience and developing my skills. But Julieta continued to push me to dream bigger. She believed I was capable of building something of my own, even before I fully believed it myself.

 

That encouragement, along with my passion for the trade, eventually led me to take a chance and start Chico’s Electric over 20 years ago.

We opened our doors in August with a vision, a strong work ethic, and the support of our family. Like any small business, the journey hasn't always been easy. There have been challenges, long days, sacrifices, and plenty of lessons learned along the way. But every challenge has made the successes that much more meaningful.

 

Today, Chico’s Electric represents more than electrical work to me. It represents decades of hard work, dedication to our customers, pride in our craftsmanship, and most importantly, family.

What began as a passion for electrical work has grown into a company I am incredibly proud of. And through all these years, the values we started with haven't changed: work hard, treat people right, take pride in what you do, and never forget the people who helped you get there.

 

That is the foundation Chico’s Electric was built on—and it's the foundation we continue to stand on today.
